I cannot believe how fast these months have been flying! Time needs to slow down a tad bit.
Anyways, in other news........ haven't had the time to post what I've been doing but July 4th weekend is finally here and I'm VERY happy and eager for some free time. I can barely remember what I've ate in the past few days. So, I will pick up from yesterday and today.

Anyways, in other news........ haven't had the time to post what I've been doing but July 4th weekend is finally here and I'm VERY happy and eager for some free time. I can barely remember what I've ate in the past few days. So, I will pick up from yesterday and today.
Thursday July 1st:
*First I should point out that the night before July 1st I prepared my lunch for the next day. I also realized (once again) that taking care of ones self takes some well deserved dedication. I could easily just "throw in the towel" and just eat whatever I feel like having without giving it much thought. However, taking apart at least 20 minutes of your time to set aside/plan some healthy foods for yourself is very well worth it:
I had the above lunch w/ a pack of 100 calorie Multi Grain chips.
And this is the delicious fruit & granola combo I had the morning of the 1st (I absolutely love to have fruit with my breakfast and I try to make it a staple as often as possible):
*I only ate half the bowl of fruit and ate the leftovers in the afternoon as a snack. I didn't feel fully satisfied so I also had a piece of toast w/ 1 tablespoon peanut butter (not pictured here) plus, my small cup of cafe. I'm a believer that if one is still hungry one must eat and just keep it healthy (not eating when hungry triggers us to binge or daydream about that piece of cake you saw at the coffee shop that morning).
Considering its been extremely HOT lately in NYC, I've been feeling like having a lot of salads lately. So, this was my dinner on Thursday:
I also went by my mothers house and picked up some of her delicious lentil soup. I had a cup of it with my salad (yummy and nutritious):
No official exercise took place today or this week. I had planned to get things started but the hectic-ness of life took precedence. I need some time management help.
And this was my July 1st in a nutshell.
Question: How do YOU keep exercise on your schedule to make sure you don't skip it (when things get overwhelming?)
Thanks for reading :)
