I do want to share that I mate it through day one of my "recovery". By this I mean I managed not to binge my way through the day and I ate conciously and moderately.
I have to admit I did have the occasional craving for sweets today. I realized these are usually triggered by moments of boredom and/or stress. I'm working on how to channel my energy elsewhere effectively when the snack attack monster wants to peek its head.
I know the path will not necessarily be easy but I also know ive surpased this before and I can do it again....for good.
And here is today's MINDFUL food choices in a nutshell:
Breakfast:
Lunch--this was one YUMMY chopped salad w/ chicken, veggies and a little bit of olive oil & balsamic vinegar:
Snack (was really hungry mid-afternoon for some reason)
Dinner:
Staying focused & motivated (as hard as it is sometimes)....More to come later on todays events :)
