Confidence Intervals, T-tables, Zcores…

Not quite sure how I survived this week. I had a hardcore statistics exam this past Thursday 4/15 which meant I had to start studying a month in advance! I even took off Thursday from work in order to continue my studies. I even got to campus about 2 hours early to make SURE nothing went wrong that day…and everything went as planned. Thank god!!

...Now, I just sit back and pray to the heavens that all of my work and sacrifices pay off.

Ok---if you think statistics in itself is hard. This is graduate school statistics—a class which is a core course for the MBA (Masters in Business Administration)...more like Hard core!!

Anyways, through the week, despite my busyness; I am very proud to say that did eat pretty healthy and went for my 2.5 mile walks whenever possible.

I always find that remaining in control of what I eat and making sure I exercise; keeps me focused and always helps me do better in whatever challenge I’m tackling in life.

So, here are some of the meals I had this past week:

Dinner Tues 4/13:

Boiled platains, Grilled chicken & side of Garden Salad w/ my special oliveOil, vinegar, lemon juice dressing.

Dinner Wed 4/14

O-M-G! This salad was super good and so simple to make. I only had a limited amt of time to prepare my food & eat. This def hit the spot.

The "Big Day" Breakfast 4/15:

I had my Kashi Oatmeal which I absolutely LOVE! I had the day off from work. So, I had some time to make it just how I like it. I also added some raisins and cinammon and brewed myself a wholesome cup of cofee w/steamed organic 1% skim milk.... (and as you can see in the background i was SuperFocused!!! ahhhh).

Lunch 4/15/10:

Had my typical turkey & cheese sandwich w/ added lettuce on 100% whole wheat bread. I also had a few minutes to make myself a strawberry Banana smoothie. I had limited ingredients @ home so, I just made it with frozen fruit, milk and 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract for sweetness.

I ate pretty well right? Leading a healthy life and doing whats best for my and my body always makes me a happy camper. :)

I survived!!!!!!!!!!!!! ---not only that test but managing not to binge on pounds of cookies, ice cream and cake. Overeating and bingeing on sugar is often a big issue for me when Im stressed out. However, I am making big progress...im learning not to resort to sugar to 'soothe' my problems. One step @ the time ;)
