I know this is kinda late but---I had to share this! Im learning how to balance my meals so that I can enjoy them in moderation and not feel deprived. My mom is a wonderful cook and on sundays I go over to her house to enjoy it. I love family dinners! As you can see, they can still be enjoyed---I made sure I balanced out her famous rice with salad and grilled chicken:
I was born and raised in the Dominican Republic so this entire meal has that dominican-caribbean flavor ;)
