Thumbs up for Breakfast

So I woke up this morning thinking about how much I miss my healthy eating habits and how much I miss working out and taking care of myself. Is kind of a love-hate situation but at the end of the day, treating myself well always brings me a sense of accomplishment and positivism.


I have to be honest with the fact that this entire summer I have not been very consistent with my motto of healthy living and my actions are definitely reflected in not only my body but also my mind and spirit. "…The way we feel has a lot to do with the extent in which we take care of ourselves".

Anyways, until I figure out the path back to recovery here is what I had for breakfast:


Went to Dunkin’ Donuts as I didnt have time to make breakfast at home. Although my mind seemed to be screaming for the unhealthy thankfully my conscience was there to save the day! I opted for a lean turkey and egg white on flatbread + cup of coffee with skim milk. I have to say this breakfast was without a doubt very satisfying- and very good. Perhaps the protein had a lot to do with it?

    I find that once I get out of my healthy habits, it's hard to get back into them, but once I do I am always much happier and feel much better, obviously.

    Glad you made a healthy choice for breakfast. And yes, the protein probably helped keep you full and satisfied.
