Snacks, dinner & beyond

Ahhh what am I doing up so late? I have work tomorrow at 8am and then graduate Financial Accounting class from 6-7:30. Someone pray for me!!

Just passing by to share my food choices for the rest of the day. Im very proud of myself for making the right decisions at least for today. We'll see what tomorrow brings...one step at the time.

About 3 hours post lunch I had a 100 calorie snack and then an hour later after I left work (at around 6:30 pm) I had some leftover melon fruit salad:


Once I got home I was starving!! So, to control my hunger I had some pieces of cheese--the only healthy protein I found on my fridge. (I ate it the cheese while steaming my brocolli & heating up/grilling the rest of my dinner).


Thank god for my mom whom prepared some rice and chicken for me to take back to my apartment (I need to buy a cookbook or something). I added some steamed Brocoli and made my dinner whole :D

Doesnt it look so "pretty", balanced and healthy?!?! Im so proud of this...haha...Oh---I forgot to add the extra chicken drumstick I had...one was just not enough.

About an hour post dinner I got a little hungry so I grabbed a yummy Kashi granola bar to satisfy my hunger and curve any cravings:
And this was my monday in a nutshell (in terms of food choices). How was your day?
