Hi everyone! So, I've had a good day for the most part. Went to work, had my healthy breakfast and lunch and went for my usual afternoon walk.
Mid-afternoon I decided I needed some sugar in my system. Many years of experience have taught me that depriving yourself is not the solution to cravings. So, I had a small portion of M&Ms:
Once I got home (at around 6:00pm) I was starving but still in the process of preparing dinner. I felt like having some milk and a granola bar in the meantime. I recently found a new flavor of Nature Valley: "Oats 'n Dark Chocolate" and its been sitting on my cupboard (I guess for a day like this one). I finally tried it and it was delicious. I [almost] felt like I was having chocolate chip cookies and milk [almost ;)]. Yummy stuff:
Key to making yourself happy: Have what you want, in moderation.
