What a day!! Tuesdays and Thursdays are usually a killer for me since I have grad school at night for 3.5 hours after working the good old 9-5 ( “good 9-5”--- sarcastic tone of voice).
So, I managed another healthy day. Being so busy is helping me understand the meaning of “eating to live” rather than “living to eat”.
This morning for breakfast I had a multigrain bagel w/ cream cheese + green tea. Mid morning I also had a cup of dark coffee with a little bit of 2% milk and no sugar.
Lunch was a left over chicken salad from yesterday (no photos, sorry =( ) plus a Gala apple (which I love).
I also managed to complete my 2.5 minute walk during my lunch hour. I listened to upbeat songs the whole time which allowed me to go at a faster pace.
I forgot my granola bars at home, so I didn’t have the usual snacks I take to class. I did manage to find a mini dark chocolate square (75% cocoa from lindt) in my bag- not sure what it was doing there but it was a pleasant surprise.
And for dinner I had to throw something together quickly because 1. I was starving and 2. I was starving. I found some lettuce & tomatoes in the fridge as well as a small piece of pork chop and chicken (don’t worry, the pork chop had no grease; I grilled it out of it!). And here it is:
What a day! time for bed. I seriously need to hit the sack earlier on days like this!
