*The journey of One ThOuSaNd miles begin w/ OnE single Step*

News Flash: It is about 61 degrees Fahrenheit in New York City today, with winds of only 11mph —feels like heaven.

So, I walked during my lunch hour today which is something I haven’t done in quite some time.
I have to say that I fully enjoyed the 40 minutes, 2+ miles of sun and bliss—plus; got some good vitamin D thanks to the blazing sun.

I haven’t done that “lunch walk” in about two years and the beautiful weather today was definitely the perfect incentive to get out there.

While walking, I listened to some good music on my iPod which keeps me going & excited about moving my body. Had a slight discomfort with my sneakers which, for some reason, are determined to torture me (too tight?). Didn’t let the slight pain stop me though; learned my lesson for next time.

I usually like to eat lunch first and then go for a nice walk (this is good for digestion). However, I finished my breakfast at around 10:30 this morning and of course I wasn’t hungry by 12:30 or even 1:30 so, I decided to do my walk first. Now I’m here sitting at my cubicle with a slight stomach ache considering my pants are a little tight (something I’m working on) and my lunch is attempting to digest. But, that’s a side note.

Yayy for days like today.

Cheers for motivation!
Xoxo.
